Surfing is extremely popular in Florida amongst both amateur and professional surfers. If its surfing apparel that appeals rather than actually trying out a surf board the state has many surf shops to choose from including the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop at Cocoa Beach which is said to be the largest surf shop in the world. This surf shop covers more than 52,000 sq.ft. and is a multi level store which features a waterfall and glass elevator. You may be lucky and grab an autograph if your visit coincides with when a surf star or live band stop by. Ron Jon also has a surfpark at Festival Bay Mall in Orlando which features a main pool which is capable of 4 - 8 ft waves and rides up to 100 yards and a training pool with waves of 3 - 4 ft and rides of 35 yards. .
