Fort Wilderness Campground allows families the freedom of staying at Disney in the great outdoors. You can either reserve your very own air conditioned cabin or bring your own tent or R.V., although I have to say that this is not exactly the economical vacation usually associated with camping. AMENITIES AT FORT WILDERNESS
The campground is located in Magic Kingdom and has two swimming pools, Meadow Swimming Pool and Wilderness Swimming Pool, but if you prefer to spend your time on the beach there is always Bay Lake Beach.

Fort Wilderness also has a games arcade, kiddies playground, fishing trip (incurs an extra fee and all catches must be released again) bike rental, jogging trails, tennis court and video rental.

Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Singalong offers visitors to Fort Wilderness the chance to gather around the campfire for a good old fashioned sing along and afterwards to watch a favourite Disney movie in the open air.

DINING IN FORT WILDERNESS
Fort Wilderness offers two dinner shows, Hoop De Hoo Musical Revue and Mickey's Backyard Barbeque.
The musical revue offers the usual high standard entertainment expected from Disney plus an all you care to eat buffet, which includes chicken, ribs, beans, salad, bread and strawberry shortcake plus unlimited beer, sangria, wine and soft drinks. Price $30 - $50 per person
Mickey's Backyard Barbeque is basically excellent entertainment plus a picnic with bbq chicken, bbq ribs and hot dogs with all the trimmings. The cost is $30 - $50 per person.
Crocketts Tavern serves up pizza, appetizers and smoothies
Trail's End Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and buffet. The cost is quite expensive when compared to other buffet restaurants in Orlando and Kissimmee with prices being $15 - $29 per person
